CounterSales will integrate with Adagio Inventory, Adagio Receivables, Sage Accpac Plus Inventory, Sage Accpac Plus Receivables, as well as Sage Accpac ERP (Formerly ACCPAC Advantage Series) (Sage Accpac ERP [Formerly ACCPAC Advantage Series] will not be available in first release of CounterSales for Windows).
CounterSales Point-Of-Sale (POS) Software has been around for approximately 20 years now and is currently being used world wide in a variety of environments. CounterSales is a very well thought-out program that continues to be changed, modified, and upgraded based upon changes in the market and due to End User, Dealer, and Distributor feedback. We thank all parties that have assisted us over the years in making CounterSales the fine POS Solution that it has become.
Much like the original Character-based, sometimes called DOS Version, of CounterSales, the new Windows version is being designed with speed of data entry, logical keystroke flow, no need to switch back and forth between mouse and keyboard, and many other valuable features built into it. When a customer comes up to the "Cash Register" to make a purchase, you want the entire process to go smoothly and quickly whether they are purchasing multiple items, paying by cash, Interac, Credit Card or on a Charge Account.

The 'start screen' - once you launch the CounterSales program, you are presented with a nice clean-looking, easy-to-follow screen to begin the sales transaction.
CounterSales offers considerable functionality allowing you to establish different levels of security, different options and features at each POS Station. Example: maybe you have one station where most of the transactions are instantaneous - no discounts, no need to change pricing, etc. You can set CounterSales to automatically sell item, all you do is scan the barcode or enter the item Sku.
CounterSales offers numerous methods of rewarding those special and repeat customers. Pre-set discount rate levels, automatic discount levels on customer accounts in inventory categories that you establish (maybe you want to offer your special customer an automatic discount in all areas except a couple of categories - no problem with CounterSales).

In CounterSales you can easily confirm the correct serial number is attached to the item being sold or if no serial number is listed, no need to go back to your Inventory Control Program to enter serial number, CounterSales allows you to enter serial number on-the-fly.
CounterSales offers a variety of payment options including cash, credit card, debit card, or charge on account. CounterSales allows you to print the type of receipt you desire depending upon type of sale. Example: cash, credit card, debit card sales - CounterSales can print out a simple receipt on a receipt printer. For customers that charge purchases on an account, CounterSales can print these transactions on a laser printer to provide detailed information such as customer information, purchase order numbers, detailed item descriptions and sku's plus serial numbers and so on.
CounterSales allows you to input 'Ship To' information regardless of method of payment. Example: If you have a client or distributor that purchases items from your store on behalf of their own clients, CounterSales will display your client as being the purchaser and display who and where the item is to be shipped to (their client).

CounterSales allows you to set up the various payment types associated with your company. If you deal with cash sales, you simply enter the amount tendered from the customer and CounterSales will automatically indicate the appropriate change to provide the customer. If you deal in foreign currency, you simply enter the amount tendered from the customer, select the type of currency tendered and CounterSales will automatically provide the clerk with the appropriate change to give back to your customer in your currency. No need for the clerk to try to figure out exchange rates therefore reducing errors and time.
CounterSales allows different choices at each POS Station depending upon your requirements such as Ship To, Paid Outs, Miscellaneous charge, Layaways, Profit margins ...and so on.
Once completed you can easily reprint the transaction or quickly move to the next transaction.
